I would suggest Sony's MDR-EX71SL's or MDR-EX51LP's over them as I haven't heard many great things about the Apple In-ears and the Sony's are of excellent quality for a low cost of $40-$50.

Watch out as I am going to make a Sony MDR-EX51LP/MDR-EX71SL Maintenance FAQ soon as to make sure you Loungers take proper care of them (mine have broke twice)

Hope that helps,

I love 'em and think they rock. Maybe it's because I have weird ears. I dunno. Anyways, good sound and they fit me fine (although it helps to turn them upside down and drape the cord over the back of your ear). I say go for it. Sounds like a great price.

I bought a pair last Saturday and I returned them the same day. I was amazed how poor the sound was. I have the regular white Apple ear-pieces and a nice pair of Sony in-ear too but wanted to try out the swanky Apple ones, thinking they would be superior. I was wrong! I never thought I would say any Apple product was rubbish but these certainly qualified. They cost me nearly $40 but the sound wasn't worth a wooden nickel. Luckily, CompUSA gave me a full refund. I am now back to the regular Apple ones or the Sony pair if there is a lot of background noise.

Please ensure you have the ability to return them if you hate them!

Many people who complain of poor sound on the Apple in-ears are in fact getting a poor fit. With a proper fit, the sound is actually really good.
