I'm looking for a cheap case mainly just for protecting my ipod in my backpack and to clip to my pants while jogging. I don't care if there are holes or not for the buttons and screens. I don't really like to use things while they are in cases anyways.

This seems like a good solution, and plus, it has a pocket for the earbuds, which is a nice bonus.

I have one, it's awsome protection. Need a remote though to use it on the go. Unless you've managed to get all your music sound levels even that is.

I don't plan on actually using the ipod while its in the case anyways. I mainly want one as protection in my backpack and stuff. I may look into a remote though, it wouldn't be a bad idea.

I just wish the remote came with an lcd screen. It would be so easy, since the ipod controls are so simplistic. Just take the clickwheel, make it smaller, and slap a 4 line display next to it.

Also, with on the go playlisting, I plan on just picking some songs before I work out, take a walk, etc., crank up the volume, and just stick it back in the case.
