Hey, i was wondering a few things....
1) does the new ipod accept any WMA files?
2) is it possible to rig a new ipod to an older version of windows...say
Windows ME...????

No, but iTunes will convert unprotected WMA files into a format that the iPod will accept.

Go to the Help >> iPod FAQs menu, there is an entry there about getting an iPod to work under older versions of Windows, such as WinME.

fyi, don't know if you know this, but they are refered to as 4G not G4 as that's an apple computer

I much prefer to say G4, as in "generation 4".
Saying 4G sounds too much like "4 Gig".
Overall, I would say that "G4" offers much less potential confusion.
