Hi, hope someone can help me here...

I'm running Windows XP Home Edition SP1, i have a 80GB Hard Drive which is a single partition and have a 3G 40GB iPod connected to a powered firewire card and have Disk use enabled. would it be possible to use my iPod to install and Dual-boot Linux? I've heard you can boot from firewire?

Any help would be great

You can use software such as PartitionMagic from Symantec to do it.
I don't think most PCs have the option to boot from firewire. You would probably need to have a motherboard with built-in firewire not a separate card.
