Hi, I want to get a case for a G4, and I like the Belkin flip case, so I was wondering- will it fit a G4?
How does it connect to the iPod? I heard its some sort of sucktion cup, so it should work with a G4, but I'm not sure.
And also- is that case any good? I don't like the iSkins and preffer an opaique case, which can easely be open for quick access. The belkin case seems to be very good for quick access while protecting the iPod. Any other sugestions though? Any other case you know of which might suit my needs?
Thanks :D

I don't understand... surly at least one person here baught this case :(, and I'm under time pressure because I can't get any of these things in my country, and so after my dad's trip I won't have access to any cases, so I need to decide what to get ASAP...

The ipod Is held in place with a suction cup thingy.
i like this case, a bit bulky, but very good drop protection.:)

Yeah I got that case too. Here's a tip bro: rip off that stupid suction cup. The sides of the area that supports the iPod give it SUCH a snug fit, that you can get rid of the annoying, bulky suction cup and just pop in your 4th gen into the case. It holds it PERFECTLY. I go running with it and it doesnt move, fall out or jiggle. Get rid of the suction cup.

I'm thinking of getting it as well -- I need that bulk for protection, but I don't need a hard case -- but I wanted to get one thing straight: I obviously need to flip the case open to fiddle with the track wheel, right? (Unless, of course, I had a remote...)

How do you store the headphones with this case? I will rip the suction cup off tonight, maybe it will lessen the bulk a little bit but whenever I've tried stashing the earphones using this case I end up with cable everywhere. :o

Oh--the iPod holder's the earbud "storage system"...couldn't tell from the instructions.
From someone who's had the Belkin flip case (using it with a 20 gig 4G) for about a week:
You might not want to remove the suction cup. That holds the iPod in place when the flip case is open, and offers a bit of shock absorption along with the metal holder.
That said, this is a nice case. My iPod seems to be staying in place nicely, the case is real leather and looks nice but doesn't look overly "stylish" (I'm a long time computer guy--bought my iPod for its excellent functionality, not its flash). I need the case mostly to provide a belt clip and some protection without getting in the way of using the player. The Belkin works on all counts.
