I recently bought a 2nd Gen 10GB iPod from a very friendly guy off eBay. He had a great choice of music, the iPod did not sustain too much wear, and it's fully functional.
Except that he was a Mac user.
As such, he only has a Firewire cable. I have no Firewire card, and soon I will be moving to a laptop, where I can't even install such a card.
I have no way to connect the iPod to the computer. It does not have a dock connection. I learned this the hard way, when I bought a Firewire/USB to Dock connection cable, only to find I couldn't even use it. Now I will have to return the accessory.
The wasted accessory isn't my concern. I want my OWN music on my iPod, and I have no way of going about it!
I feel like I'm going to cry. I try to be the smart buyer by saving a bunch of money and buying off eBay. It is a great product, but there were these minor details that I failed to recognize. Please help out, I would greatly appreciate it.
