I have decided not to buy a 4G iPod, as I have yet to fill up my 20GB 3G and there's not much of an improvement in features. Since the 3G is not the lastest version, will the 3G case prices drop and will online stores stop selling them soon?

I think vaja was having a sale. Do not think stores will stop selling though. You still see pre-3rd gen cases for sale.

Yeah, as long as enough people still have and use 3Gs they'll sell cases and other accessories for them (and I still see people with 1G and 2G iPods walking around)
