Hi, Im getting a 4G 20GB and I want to get one of the official cases from apple for it. I was wondering if the cases made for other sizes (3G 10, 15, 20, etc) would fit it. Would the thinner ipod slide out too easily? How tight are the cases?
Also, is it true that the official cases scratch the ipod? Thanks!

I think they are all the same. They just stretch to accomodate the other sizes.
People say they scratch, and maybe if you take a magnifying glass and bright light, you will see tiny scratches it has, but mine looks just fine and I use the case all the time.
The apple case is actualyl the only case I have found so far that I like. I just bought another one. I don't know why... They are cheap on ebay.

I told you they scratch. The first week I used mine it had scratches on it. Okay perhaps for a regular mp3 player, but not for one that costed in upwards of $500....
