Hi,
I currently have my music collection ripped in itunes and connected to my crappy mini system hifi through an on board sound card.
I would like to buy a new (good) soundcard and a seperate amplifier and speakers to create a new home hifi based around itunes.
Can anyone recommend a good sound card for music? (i dont need 5.1 surround etc). Also what connection to the amp should i use? Coaxial digital or optical?
Any other recommendations (amp or speakers) would also be great
