Today I finally decided to take my iPod to the beach with me. The temperature outside was around 145 degrees (seriously). At first i was worried that something might happen. So I was sitting by the pool listening to the iPod and it was under direct sunlight and I looked down at the iPod to change the song that it was playing and the whole contrast was screwed! It was way much darker then i had set it up. So then i felt the iPod and it was extremely warm. I then decided not to play the iPod. So i put it in my bag in the shade. I went swimming for a little bit and when i got out and i was drying myself i got an idea. I decided to play the iPod, but have it wrapped it a lightly wetted towel. And it worked a lot better this way. The contrast returned to normal and the iPod wasnt as warm as it was before. I also got drops of water on the iPod by accident (some kid jumping in the pool by me), but nothing really happened. I'm pretty glad the iPod can withstand this much heat. Now all that i need is an underwater iPod case... :D
