Wow...my summer is screwed up already

Every summer I go to California to visit my dad, and I just purchased a new iPod about a month ago. I had about 1500 songs uploaded onto my iPod before I came out to California, and when I installed my iPod software onto my dads computer and loaded up iTunes......all of my music was gone....all of it:( I guess I clicked a button or something on accedent. Now I have to wait until Aug. 19 to get my music back from my other computer....that means no more music big music collection until I get back...what a stupid mistake I did...:(

many a person has made the same mistake so don't feel too bad...! just need to turn of that auto sync for any computer that you are likely to connect your iPod to, except of course your own. but if you intend to transfer music from other computers onto your iPod, then you will also need to turn it off even on that, or they will disappear when you get 'home'.

well at least you're on holidays with your dad. maybe go by some music together..!? : )
