i understand that before you disconnect your ipod, you're suppose to "eject" it correct? just right click it in "my computer" and click eject right? or are you suppose to do this from ephpod. because whenever i try to eject it gives me an error message "an error occured while trying to eject Ipod H". and the ipod screen keeps displaying "do not disconnect". any ideas?

Hmz. If you have iPod Manager, have you tried unmounting your iPod from there?

hmm ok, that worked. however, it seems that doing that lost all my songs that were on the playlist.... ephpod doesn't seem to be working.....or i'm not 100% how to use it...

i mean, when i open ephpod, and look at the "ipod view", all my songs are there in their correct playlists, but when i unmount my ipod, they dont' seem to be on the ipod...

Try rebuilding your iPod database in ephpod. Open up ephod, click on iPod Tools, select Rebuild iPod datbase.

That should bring your tunes back.
