My iPod is alive.

Hmz. My 3G iPod took on a life of its own today. I had it in the standard case that was provided and I'm pretty darned sure I turned the thing off. When I turned it off, I made darned sure that it was really off. 3 hours later, when I took it out to listen to it again, it was ON!!!

I was spooked.

Anyone here has a similar experience?

Um. Nope. I have not touched the alarm settings since I bought it, which is less than a week?

If your remote was still plugged in, you may have hit a button on that.

A good idea for keeping the ipod tucked away while it's off is to put on the Hold switch so you don't accidentally turn it on.
