No way. It would lose its chicness and cosmopolitan flair. White on chrome is the only way to show.

All-chrome (with a thin, durable clear plastic factory-installed skin) would be nice. Then it would match that new G5 my boss is surely going to buy me... *wish wish wish*

No, Apple products were never intended to be "cute". Function has always dictated form, despite older products having unconventional colors.

Actually, I wouldn't mind if it were white all around. The chrome gets ugly way too easily.

hmm. This is probably a bad time to mention that I not only have an indigo iMac, but an indigo Zip drive, a Kensington mouse with indigo accents...an indigo desk lamp...and an indigo case for my iPod. Yep.
Oh, and my microwave is indigo too. So is my lamp on my dresser.
So sue me if I like blue. ;)

changable faceplates would be heaps more practical, that way i wouldnt always be so paranoid about scratching mine.

also all white is a good idea
and maybe metallic red all over -that would be really sexy!!
in fact when i imagine it in any whacky colour it is still really beautiful so it wouldnt really matter - even brown or gray would look cool!
