Hi all,

Excuse me if this has been discussed to death, but I couldn't find it in the FAQs here.

How does one go about importing a list of contacts to the iPod from Windows? Can it import a CSV file? vCards? Is there a specific field ordering required? Following that, what synchronisation options exist?

Thanks for any advice,

yan

the iPod supports contacts in the form of vcards located in \contacts\ and subfolders. most programs used to store your contacts will allow you to export them as vcards, and outpod will allow you to synch your outlook contacts with your ipod's, search the software section for more info.
for calendar i don't really know how it works, but I know ephpod will allow you to use it.

Do a search for Palm2iPod. It takes your Palm Datebook and Address book and exports it to your contacts and calendar on your pod.

Don't have a palm pilot?? Problem Solved. You can use Palm's "Palm desktop" software for free, WITHOUT owning a palm. Dowload the software Here (http://palm.com/us/software/desktop/).

I hope that helps out some.
