View Full Version : Did Apple include crap-software MusicMatch to get PC users to switch to Mac?
No they didnt cause sometime this year they will release iTunes for Windows because they want you to shop on their Music site....
so you will be downloading one of the best jukeboxes in the near future...
of course you could always switch to Mac because they are superior to PCs anyway

Nope. Besides, I use EphPod. I just got a brand new iMac, and iTunes is great, but I still prefer EphPod on my PC (my iPod is still a WinPod). iTunes is great, but not the heavenly software everyone makes it out to be.

The only part of Music match which is annoying is the syncing software. The rest isn't too bad.
MusicMatch looks like crap.
Even Apple pointed this out for me...

Nah. You can download iTunes for PC from Apple web site. By including MMJB, they are just giving user another choice.

music match was bad once you got a lot of songs. with like 400 it was great, but when i got like 1000, it was becoming diffcult to manage. and it was ugly, and horrible interface.
Music match has by far the best Track naming function of compared to any other player though.

Until iTunes came out, I found MusicMatch a great MP3 app - it just had a horrible interface.

Musicmatch is crap, but then again, that seems to be the current 'standard' for mp3 players. Archos ships with it, and I guess Apple didn't want to be sued for antitrust by only including iTunes.
