I am going to buy either a 2005 Honda Accord or a Toyota Camry. I want a car stereo I can attach my Ipod to and realize that it has to have an auxiliary input.
Question: Should I buy one of the car stereos that comes with the car, or should I opt out of buying a stereo with the car and instead have a third party car stereo installed.
If the answer is the latter, any recommendations?
Any help will be appreciated!

ummm... in the 2004 accord, i know that the Head unit is beautifully built into the dash. and to imagine a big blank hole there was a little aftermarket deck = nooooooo.
besides that, you could always use the icelink i suppose, if the stock head unit has a cd-changer port.
and by the way... imo, the new camrys suck. not to mention, no matter who likes the camry's exterior, the interior is definitly boring as hell. the accord is way better in every way... imo.

The accord has line out adapters available for it (and costs less and performs better ;-))

You can do what this guy did if you get the accord http://www.ipodlounge.com/forums/showthread.php?threadid=21865
I don't know how much the ICE-link is, but the SNHOND3 aux adapter cost me 100 bucks plus shipping, install is quite doable with a little bit of patience, and you can just do exactly what this guy did except no ICElink, and just an aux input.
OT: Oh yeah, and if you get the accord, www.v6performance.net has awesome forums for accord owners, esp V6ers, but it applies to other models too.

Slightly OT: Don't get the Camry. Go for the Accord. Just test drove both last weekend, and the Honda Accord is so much nicer. It just feels more refined and solid. :)
