Congratulations adding a Doug's Applescripts forum to the iPodLounge. Applescript is one of the coolest features of the Mac OS. I am astounded at the number of free scripts available and how easy it is to customize one to do your bidding. I'm hoping that this exposure will help AppleScripting grow even faster.

Hey do you know where i can find a list of apps that can record Applescript?

The Script Editor's recording feature doesn't work as well in many OS X apps :(

I am unaware of a definitive list; however, DragThing and Tex-Edit Plus (see my Offical AppleScripts for Tex-Edit Plus Archives (http://www.malcolmadams.com/te/)) are two X apps that I use regularly that are recordable.

I highly recommend Tex-Edit Plus (http://www.tex-edit.com/) to novice scripters. It is first and foremost a really great text editor, and EVERYTHING in it is 'scriptable and almost all actions are recordable via Script Editor. It's a great tool for learning AppleScript.
