iPod into VW Golf Mk5 with RCD3000

Hi.
Can anybody give me any ideas on how to hardwire to a new VW Mk5 Golf with an RCD3000 stereo head unit, no cd changer, or point me in any direction of links to any details on the stereo head unit and how to get to it ?

Yep in the UK the Mk5 new shape (2004) Golf is available, and the 2.0 GT TDi is brilliant car - had to have a company supplied car and sell my 6 month old Mini Cooper S with John Cooper Works pack, and it is certainly a match but with bags better fuel consumption !

I was hoping to see the Mk5's at the Chicago auto show this year, but they didn't have them. I don't know when they come out in the US, but it should be for the next model year. I didn't like them at first, but the styling is starting to grow on me.
