messing with the fm transmitter?
I use to have a portable CD player and I had the tape and charger with it. I don't have a cassette player now, because I have a cd player.
Just curious, because my FM Transmitter doesn't work very well in the car Other stations always come in instead of the songs on my IPOD.
Thanks!

Short answer: Yes. The only question is whether you can do it with your current car stereo. :)
Read through all the other posts in this section to see how various people have done this.
If you have a factory head unit with CD and no cassette, look into getting an auxiliary input adapter which plugs in where a CD changer would. If an aftermarket head unit, see if it has AUX inputs -- if not, AND if it doesn't support a CD changer, you will probably need to replace the head unit with an aftermarket unit which supports auxiliary inputs.
If you're not comfortable digging into your dash and unplugging/plugging stuff, you'd do best to find a good audio shop nearby and speak with them.

AIWA's cd players all seem to have a aux jack on the front... some are only $99. The male to male headphone jack is $5 at radio shack, or abouts.
