PAC finally shipped their AUX kit for Infiniti/Nissan so I spent Father's Day re-doing my install. I've updated my DIY Instructions (http://g35ipod.com/installation.php?src=ipl) and added new pics (http://g35ipod.com/galleryThumb.php?g=4&src=ipl).

I believe the PAC adapter does work with the 350Z. Contact Pacific Audio (http://pac-audio.com) for details.

Hey kloh, I have an 03 350z track...I'm looking into hardwiring the ipod into my Z... please update your forum. I see you are running phpbb 2.0.8 your forum can be hacked easily, upgrade to 2.0.14

synth19, thanks for the note. I know about the hack problem, just havent had time to upgrade yet. I really need to do that.

Good luck with the install.

That ABS plastic plate that your friend laser-cut for you, do you know where one can get something like that done? [I don't have such friends :( ]

I'm looking for something similar for my install, although a plastic foam might work too...

I would guess any professional car audio installer should be able to fabricate something similar to the plate I have.

But if you don't want to pay someone to do it and want to try making something cheap on your own, check this out: Poor Man's Faceplate (http://g35ipod.com/installPlate.php?skin=1&src=ipl-thread).

It's just cut out of a cheap plastic notebook cover with an xacto knife, and reinforced with popsicle sticks. Yeah, I know... way getto, but it did served it's purpose before I had the real plate done ;)
