I went to put some songs on my ipod tonite and my battery went out while they were transferring. Now i have none of my playlists and songs on my ipod, but the space is still taken up. I tried to send the playlist again and when connected to the computer it showed up but when i disconnected it the playlist disappeared. I had a lot of stuff on there that i can't get back is there any way to fix this??? Thanks

Most likely you won't be able to get back what you lost. You can try to copy the music folder off of the iPod from My Computer/Explorer (make sure you enable viewing of hidden files), it'll be in the ipod_control directory.
As a rule, don't let your iPod run out of juice when uploading. That will cause the data on the HDD to get corrupted.
You'll probably have to do a restore w/the updater program, then reupload your music.
Just a word of advice: never trust data to a portable media device. It's just too fragile. Keep a backup copy somewhere.
