According to MacPoint (and many other BMW related sites), BMW/MINI owners will have an adapter coming out "soon" to integrate their iPods to the stock haed unit. This will allow full control of the iPod from the steering wheel buttons (and charging of course...).
Currently I am using the AUX input option on my Mini Cooper S stock head unit. Cant wait to integrate "both MINIs"!!!
