Calendar/file removal

I have used a trial version of iPodSync to see how it works.

I selected the calendar function and wish I hadn't. Now my iPod goes off whenever I have a n appoinment - I don't mind this so much as I know this is the intention of this function buy I have a Pocket PC to do this for me!

I have deselected the Calendar from iPodSync but it has left all the previously sync dates on my iPod.

How can I take them off manually? Whereabouts are they stored and what sort of files are they?

I am concerend that my iPod comes on to tell me I have an appointment, am not around and whilst it's alerting me (I know it does eventually switch off), it's using up my battery.

i don't know what os you're using, but when you iPod is connected to your computer, you should be able to see it as another drive. if you navigate to your iPod, there will be four folders/directories below your iPod - contacts, notes, calendars, photos(?). anyway you can go to the calendars folder and delete whichever calendar you do not need.
