iDock, iSync, iCharge.......... iCrash

I had to get a FireWire card to get my iPod to sync without crashing. Now when I leave my Pod docked to charge, iTunes closed, no drive access on. My system will randomly crash after awhile. Not doing anything at all with the system or iPod. I get a BSOD error STOP 0x0000007E. Any of you guys got any ideas?

What OS are you running? Win XP? ME? 2000?

The problem may be with your firewire card: What make and model is it? I've heard of people having problems with firewire cards before. You need to do a search on this site for "Firewire crash" and see what you find.

I'm running Win XP SP1 and using a Belkin F5U512-APL 3-port firewire card from BestBuy (it was around 30-40 bucks), and I haven't had any problems.

Do the search and then check back in.

Win XP Home SP1 , Belkin F5U503-APL. I did find that if I have it set for drive access it won't crash. At least not yet!

P.S. Have u got the new beastie boys album yet?
