Hi everyone.
I'm buying an iPod real soon and plan to get an iTrip at the same time to play it through my van's radio. I've read many reviews and instructions on setting the iTrip up with the radio and it involves "tuning to an empty station first" before "setting the respective frequency on the iTrip".
However, the stock radio in my van doesn't allow me to tune to an empty station. Every time I press the "tuning button", it will automatically search for the next "occupied" frequency, even when it's already in "manual tuning mode" .
Therefore I need someone with an iTrip to try and set-up in the reverse order, meaning you determine a frequency on the iTrip first, before tuning your radio to that respective frequency.
Can someone help me to see if this works?
I believe my radio should then be able to detect the frequency my iPod is playing through.
BTW, I think I should be able to find an empty frequency pretty easily in where I live (Singapore), so no worries on that.
