I have just loaded my 2nd generation IPOD. It keeps saying "no operating support" Is this because i hve windows 98. If i upgrade to windows 2000 will i be able to run without any problems. I have a installed a firewire. HELP.

If you have W98se, try EphPod, AnaPOd, Xplay. Forget about iTunes er MMJB. They won't run under W98se.

Can i down load the ones you suggested or do i have to buy them on a disk?

EphPod is free. You want v2.58 for W98se. AnaPod ( a specialized interface for Windows Explorer) is free to try for 30 days. I have both, but.... only AnaPod will allow you to tag & rename files. A package called Tag & Rename will also allow tagging. T & R comes bundled in AnaPOd. I found this out only after registering AnaPOd Universal Explorer. Universal allows manipulation of all pods, even minis.
