Hi,

I have my Ipod rigged to my car stereo (via cable) and all I need to do now is find a way of fixing it on the dashboard.

I was thinking of using one of those generic mobile phone holders, but they are a little bulky. Anyone got any better ideas? My car doesn?t have cup holders (I have a MKIV Toyota Supra), so the one advertised on the Apple website is no good unfortunately.

I have had a search around to find something already on the forum, and I?ve seen some pictures, but no details on what they were, where they were purchased etc. I am in the UK, so something from here would be nice, but I don?t mind buying from the US (it?s just more expensive that way).

Thanks for any help?.and long live the Ipod!

Nick

Halfords do a mobile phone mount with articulated arm, which is big enough for an iPod. It comes with suction pad for window mounting and adhesive mount for the transmission tunnel.
I ended up using double sided tape on mine as it would not stick to the transmission tunnel plastic of my Accord.
However I could not get a good signal with mine using the articulated arm, I use an iTrip, so I took the gripping part off the arm and mounted it onto some brass which is bent in such a way as to mount the whole thing on my dash underneath the radio. Sounds mad but it works and when sprayed black just looks like a phone holder in an odd place.

Thanks mate, I'll pop into Halfords and see what they've got.

Cheers :)
