Does this only occur for in car methods involving an antennae? Say if I made a connection to the stereo of my car via the line in method, would GLI be a problem?

I have had issues with both an FM modulator and my direct aux-in setups. I guess that I have a noisy truck!
I have been able to solve the problem both times. Usually a combination of different tricks.
My current setup is dead quiet.
