Belkin Auto Kit vs. Belkin Mobile Power Cord

Hi all, first post.

I will be heading out on a road trip later this summer, and I am currently purchasing the iPod accessories. I've decide to get the Belkin Media Link for the photos, a FM transmitter, and a DC charger. I am currently looking at the TuneCast II for the FM transmitter, which leads me to my issue.

I had been looking at the Belkin Auto Kit for my DC charger, because it looked like it was fairly high quality, and I like the way it handles the audio line out. But then I noticed in the product description for the Belkin Mobile Power Cord it mentions that it interfaces with the TuneCast to provide power for it. Less batteries to shuffle around is a plus in my book.

I haven't been able to find a review or comment that mentions this, though (only the commercial product description). How is this interface? Is it slick, or am I better off not using it in the crowded car condition? How does the Auto Kit compare to the Mobile Power Cord? How would the users of each rate them?

I used the Auto Kit in my car install, it works awesome. I like it because the line out it on the cigeratte plug, not closer to the dock conector. Its easier to do a clean instal this way.
