Okay this may be overkill, but wouldn't it be cool if someone made a Wi-Fi adapter (something like the iTrip) that could then connect to the Air Express connected to your stereo in your living room? You could walk about at your party and be a roving DJ! Too kewl.

Yes that would be awesome but almost totally pointless. I can't see how that would be too useful, but it sure would be cool!

Apple are pushing WiFi in a big way, I wouldn't be suprised if 4th gen iPods had WLan capabilities.

Why pointless and why not usefull?
Like iPod-uPod said, the ability to roam the house freely with the iPod, changing the music at will or wimsy, without having to head back to the main stereo room.

Cool and usefull in my opinion.

I'd be all over it if an iPod came out that could transmit directly to an Airport Express. One of my treats at home is to hook up my iPod to the main media room speakers. It's a pain now because I have to drag a wire from the equipment stack to my seat. If there were a wireless iPod that wouldn't be needed. Until that time, I'm planning on using one of my Laptops. An iPod would be more convenient and thermally a lot cooler on my lap.
