After having some problems with EAC/LAME, I got tired of constantly downloading new software, so I decided to bite the bullet and try MC9.
I had to spend some time learning how to use all the features, but now I'm pretty sure this is what I'll be using for my iPod. I'll probably pay the $40 when my trial runs out. It rips and encodes at about the same quality as EAC, and the interface and features like smartlists are great. Now if Apple would just include this with the iPod, it would save a lot of people a lot of grief.
I would also like to thank Adam for taking the time to write the help file. It was very helpfull for learning how to use the program.
