Klipsch Speakers?

From what I've read these are the best speakers for around $150. What is the difference between the regular Promedia 2.1 and the GMX Promedia? Are there other speakers that are better for the price?

I have the promedia gmx a2.1 speaker system, and they are awesome, for the price. The sound is clean, mids and highs are clean, somewhat crisp, and the lows are warm and deep.

Logitech z680 $170 or $130 your mileage may vary...but worth a try!

or you can upgrade to a real system...i used to have cambridge soundworks fps2000, a 4.1 set up, which i got for under 100. when i decided to upgrade i got a *laughs* onkyo home theatre in a box. 5 speakers with a sub and receiver hooked up digitally to my computer and dvd player and ipod (that connection is not digital :P). im only a student so i can't afford the nice stuff, but it's good enough for now. :D the advantage of that is if i want to upgrade speakers in the future i can still keep my receiver, etc. and i can choose to say only upgrade the fronts, rears or the center. anyway the logitech's are supposed to be good. my roommate got a set. hopefully he'll keep the bass down when he gets it :P

I have owned my promedia for about 2 years now and they still kick arse. Best sounding speakers I have heard and I have tested quite a few to see if anything else was better. I have a bud that works at Worstbuy so i have tested others and Klipcsh is the best IMO go for the 5.1 or higher its worth the cash

I have a pair of Klpisch Promedia 2.1 and they blow away any logitech system ive heard. At loud volumes the Logitech's start to get sketchy sound quality. The Klipsch are still clean and clear.

I bought mine when they were $249. They are worth much more than that in my opinion.

EDIT: There is a reason their surround sound speakers are $250+ a speaker. (I use Yamaha in my theaters anyway :rolleyes: )
