I've been thinking about this: where does everyone use their iPod? I use mine at work, commuting, Mtn Biking, snowboarding, and at the gym. But what about the unusual places? I just godda know...

Home (connected to my 400-watt stereo system via dock), school, in car, and anywhere else inbetween ;)

Question is, where not to use the iPod. I take mine pretty much everywhere. THere are a few places I don't take it (yet)...
I'm thinking of getting the iTrip when it comes out for the new iPod, and then putting it in this waterproof bag for digital devices that I found (don't remember link sadly). I also found that Speedo makes a waterproof FM radio with thise waterproof earplugs/phones that is supposed to be clipped to your swim cap. I think I'm gonna seal up my iPod, set the iTrip, and throw it in the bag under the inspection cover in my Laser. Begin jamming to the tunskies on the water!

Just the usual - commuting to and from school, connecting it to my stereo at home, on holidays. Stuff like that. I guess I'm not very interesting. :D

And gizmo53, that is a #### cool idea!

I listen to mine pretty much anywhere I go - school, work, home, and soon to be in the car when I get my iTrip!! I would use it with my stereo at home but my computer is already hooked up to it so I just use play MP3s directly from my computer.

Right now, I use it practically all day. From the time I walk out the door, to the bus stop, on the bus, 5 hours at work while doing data entry, on the bus again, and walking home. :D

I also sometimes use it when cleaning around the home, or doing yardwork.

Yup it truly is wonderful it is compact enough to fit in your pocket for on the go listening and powerful enough to be hooked up to speakers and be the heart of your audio lifestyle.

Roy when you use it on flights do you use other headphones to combat the noise?

Nope, I use my Sony Earphones, but put the volume up, I once seat in Economy, near the engine, #### I couldn't hear anything with the MiniDisc... :(

When I came back from the States last week with my new iPod, I flew business, seat in the 3rd raw, in the a340, didn't really bother me the noise to tell you the truth...

Does it bother you?

I haven't been on a flight with them yet. Not until this summer maybe but I hear the Apple ones that they come with are very bad on flights. I hear that its good to buy cheap ear phones that cover your whole ear like the sonys.

i used my iPod when driving snowmobile, was a weird expierience listening to the Doors on the mountains... :-) was minus 20 celcius, but had it in my pocket in the jacket so it didn?t get cold.

That sounds cool. What song were you listening to? Light My Fire? Riders on the storm? The end?

I take mine with me everywhere. And I always have it on at home.

I go shopping with it too, or when I have to go to the revenue office to renew my lisence, lines suck, but the iPod helps out a lot.

Thats too bad no aux in the car. But headphones are ok I guess. Is it legal in Norway to listen to headphones on the road? I don't believe it is legal in Canaa or the states.

Ya that sounds like a good reason. It is illegal here in canada though for sure.
