So, I can listen to my iPod in the car, stick it in its cradle which plugs into my stereo, headphones, etc
But... I wanted a way to bring it to the beach and broadcast it through a speaker, or use it on my Jamaican Porch without bringing it outside, or if I want to DJ a party and have my iPod on me and or locked away safe in my car or backbag... check this out:

I got mine at Radio Shack just cause I wanted it right away for an outdoor party I had last night.
It's awesome! It's actually LOUD and great sound and virtually indestructable in any weather, its waterproof too. Just don't drop it and it works full-strength from 300 feet away.
Now all I gotta do is bring it with me to the beach! My iPod is safe and out of site (in my backpack, with the transmitter charged and hooked up to it, in its case). I cue up my 150 favorite song playlist on shuffle and just plop down this cool, sturdy, Weatherproof Speaker... And it plays 10 hours with 8 "C" Batteries (that lasted all night at my party, longer than my iPod LOL).
The transmitter CAN be charged I haven't figured it out yet, but would the BELKIN TuneCast II Mobile FM Transmitter be able to transmit to this 900MHZ Wireless Speaker? I know its not FM but here are the specs:

Anybody that has an iPod should surely consider getting one of these!! You can hook it up to anything with a headphone jack or R and L line out! It makes Summer a whole HEEEEEEEEL of a lot better!
