Philips Surround Sound White Earbuds - HE592

Anyone have these? How do they sound?

Well, I got impatient since nobody replied to my post and I went and bought a pair.
I've been using them for about 4 hours now and I am convinced that these must be the BEST earbuds I've ever tried.
The bass response isn't quite as good as my Sony NC11 noise cancelling buds but these are MUCH more comfortable and stable in my ears.
These Phillips have a very natural sound, not typical of other earbuds I've had in the past and they are miles ahead of the original iPod buds.
I've had $50 buds that didn't sound as good or were as comfortable as these. The best $20 purchase I've made in a very long time.
The little rubber spool they came with is very cool as well. :cool:

Ouch. Went out and bought these. Mistake. These things are uncomfortable and have poor sound. They kind of have a "virtual surround" sound, but the sound is really muddy and the bass is awful. I have always loved Philips products, but these flat-out suck. At least they are returnable.

DO NOT NOT NOT BUY these.

My brother, friend, and I all bought em to match our ipods...BIG mistake.

They dont fit well and constant fall out or hurt. If they fit in your ear then I can see the appeal of these but when it doesnt fit well for 3 out of 3 people, I dont see many people being happy with these.

They sound like absolute crap and are way to big to fit in your ears.

I have to disagree with the above posters. I find that the HE592s fit better than Apple's standard earphones and I like their sound, too.

I would recommend them.

Wow. What will I DO??

a) I love Philips products, own too many to count. They are one of My Brands.

b) I am looking for a new pair of preferably white earbuds.

c) Philips makes a pair of white earbuds.

d) Lots of people here are insisting I don't buy them!!

Nah dont... move on dude, u can get other brand. There are lots of brand out there in the world... Sony looks good but not as ### as Philips. And again Philips sux, he doesnt treat you well. I think you will like sony.

I just got the HE592 (white) yesterday.. and I'm liking them so far.. doesn't fit as well as sony ex-71's but fits WAY better than the stock ipod earbuds

Noticed some people love the fit while others cannot get them to stay in their ears... maybe this might help:

I found out that earlier shipments of the HE592 had one plug size (the ones already on the earbuds) that fit only larger ears. However due to complaints, Philips started using a smaller plug (thick at the bottom and has a narrow end sticking out) and began packaging the original larger plugs as replacements

I found that the newer plugs fit pretty well (significantly better than the large size)

Oh, and it sounds pretty good :)

I pretty sure there is a fit problem. Some ppl said this sounds crap, but some said this sounds wonderful.
