How can i play AAC (non DRM iTunes music) in Windows Media 9 player?
I have used Hymn to remove protection in my iTunes music... and wish to play it on my Media Center PC... which uses Windows Media Player 9.
Is there a codec/plugin to allow WMP9 to play AAC files, like Winamp and realplayer can.
Hey i own it, i payed for it, i should be able to play it elsewhere not just iTunes... if not i wont buy buy anymore...

I don't know if there is but here's some info you can search through to see:
iTunes Plug-ins:

You can also check:
http://www.versiontracker.com
http://www.zdnet.com
They both have a software download section.

Dude, bad news for you. Windows and Apple are really childish like that : Apple boycots WMA and Windows Boycots AAC heheh.
I don't think there's anybody that likes AAC except for apple though. And me off course, because i have a pod ! heh

3ivx MPEG4 codec: http://www.3ivx.com/download/windows.html
AAC is MPEG4 the new standard that will replce mp3, WMP9 just doesn't have built-in support for it yet. Just install the codec and you'll be able to play AAC m4a and mp4 audio files in WMP9.
P.S. iFool just showed us why he has such a name with that uneducated statement of his.

I'm so sorry !
I really didn't know. I did read on a couple of sites though, that AAC probably won't last because most of the serious audiophiles have been using a different format for a while that's supposed to be better.
Something called OGG or something like that. Yeah i'm ignorent. so sue me.

Oh, and by the way, i think it's rather arogant of Apple to say that it's the new standard. It's only a standard if everybody uses it.
And guess what : ALLMOST NO-ONE DOES !
I think i will change my name to iSkeptic.
