e2c's giving me a headache?

I'm listening to it with next-to-none volume. I don't really understand, but I'm sorta getting a headache from it. I went from no volume, to one notch. JUST ONE NOTCH. and i'm getting a headache. is there anything i can do about this?

It may not be the volume levels but perhaps the tips. I figured I had regular sized ears and couldn't even use even the smallest silicon tips - and forcing them in gave me one hell of a ear/head ache.

i think i had the silicon ones in while i was typing that. The foamies are SOOO much more comfortable after wearing them for a while. I think I actually had them fitted correctly today, as i swear i could feel a little vibration/boom when it would hit a hard bass drum. nice feeling! i think i'm beginning to appreciate portable bass!
