View Full Version : iPod.... my precious....
I realized something going through the iPod lounge forums. The majority of the people that own an iPod treat it as if its party of a 'family'. Something that is extremely valuable, like jewelery or something. I think I can safely say that we are all proud owners of iPods. If something would happen to ur iPod (dropping it and breaking it, losing it, etc) I think you would get close to tears (i would). I think this shows how successful, as a product the iPod is. I would like to congratulate Apple for creating such a great product and i hope they don't ruin it in any way. I wonder if I am the only way that feels this way, lol. :D

No you're not trix. The loyalty folk have to these things and the personalities they've given them really says something about how personal people feel towards them.
You're not alone. :D :D

Yeah, hell, to love an inanimate object as much as I do now...I never knew it could exist between a human being and 6 ounces of plastic, steel, aluminum, silicon, lucite and what not...

Either we are all really loyal, need professional help, or both. Any Psychiatrists out there want to help....?:D
I don't have it yet, but before when some of my valuable stuffs broke or something I just get UBER ####ed.. So I suppose I'd be the same for the iPod.. I doubt I'd cry..
(Tho I barely ever cry)

somone stole my gen 2, 10 gig iPod. I almost cried, but I lived through it and saved up enough money to buy a gen 3 iPod.
Here is a similar thread (http://www.xsorbit1.com/users/dennx/index.cgi?board=ipodfirst&action=display&num=1043473058&start=4) where people try to explain their iPod passion!
