showcase, flipstand, evo

i need a case, and ive been looking into the showcase, flipstand or evo

id go for the flipstand or showcase in a second but i hate that its made for 40gig ipods and you have to use the foam, is it really that much bulkier? any other clear cases for 10/20 gig g3's

i want to feel confident that i can throw my ipod into a bag full of sharp rulers and metal mechicanical pencils and rest assured...

is it annoying to have to flip the wheel cover over all the time just to change the volume?... i dont have a remote

well if you're looking for some good protection against your sharp rulers, pencils, and whatever else...the flipstand will offer some good protection since it also covers the scroll wheel.

It's not that annoying to flip the stand down, and if you don't like it you can always take it off.
