I use my ipod in my car, when i park my car i like to put my ipod under my seat so no one can see it, but i have to be very careful so i don't scratch it.

Can Any recommend the best hard plastic, metal, etc case that i could use, it doesn't have to be the best looking as no one will ever see it!, but i do need it to be very easy to take off and put on!

Any help will be appreciate!

Probably the most protective case would be a Lilipod. Especially if you are indeed putting it under your car seat. All sorts of dust and other detritus to be found beneath the seat in most autos. Lilipods are a complete seal...even to the point being nearly waterproof.

Next, in order of protection, would be an iPod Armor and then a Contour Showcase.

The Armor and the Lilipods are pretty ugly, both of them. But, they both will see an iPod through almost any environment.

Cheers for your help i have been looking around and i think i will go with the ipod armour, for use in the gym as well as my car! but i don't think it would take the weight of a 40Kg dumb bell, lol. We'll have to see!!

No....not sure I can think of any case that is going to withstand that.

If you do indeed decide to go with an Armor, email me. I have one that I bought and never used. Don't have the box....but the case, insert, and all the paperwork is sitting here on the shelf where it landed when it first arrived. I'll sell for less than new.

actually, I think the otterbox oPod would do good. It has the same sand and dust protection as the lillipod, and you can still use the buttons. the plastic construction looks pretty durable. I pre-ordered one, and hope to review it when it gets to me

Nearly waterproof? the Lilipod is *totally* waterproof. even the headphone connection port is waterproof.
