I apologise for starting this if it annoys that forum mods. but i just got a burning question, i don't really like the ipod's headphones and i was wondering if which one of these two headphone's i'm currently looking at are more worthy of purchase? the music i mostly listen to is rock (linkin park...RATM..etc) which headphones are more suitable for this type of music? thanks in advance!
P.S (i like bass...heavy bass!)

If you like your bass, you're better off investing in bigger drivers (Sennheiser PX100, etc) or a pair of bassy in-ear phones like the Sony EX71. I can't comment on your exact requirement but the MX400 certainly aren't bass monsters. Their best point is that they're cleaner than the iPod buds, and lows are not their strong suit.

niknil..
if you can wear 'em (in ear canaltypes), as dodgeyguy suggests, the sony ex71 in ears are great bass monsters..and not too expensive
I had them, but just bumped up to shure e3s for greater clarity
