Hello,
Was curious to see if anyone's been in the same situation as me. A couple of days ago I was using my 5gb iPod (with the moving wheel) like usual, and the screen started to flip out. The text was sort of "pulsing" and half of it was very faded out, half normal. This stopped after a few minutes, but now there is a vertical line down the screen that doesn't seem to be going away. I haven't ever dropped it, nor has it been exposed to direct sunlight and it was fully charged when this happened.
I called Apple and told the guy on the phone the same thing. He said to send it in for repair, since it's still under the year warranty. I suppose the packing box is on its' way to me now.
Has anyone else experienced the same problem? Did Apple fix your iPod, or did they say it was your fault and therefore sent it back unfixed? Did you get a new one? I am dying to know what's going to happen because I don't want to live without my iPod for too long ;) Any thoughts or posts from people with similar experiences would be appreciated. Thanks
Kim
