Iskin Evo questions

I am probably ordering an iskin evo soon and would like to know if anyone knows of a good sale anywhere. Also, I'm broken between carbon and ebony. I have a poll for anyone to vote for which one.

I'd get neither. Both will show lint extremely easy. If it were me, I'd get either the sonic or arctic.

I have heard ways to reduce the lint so I am not concerned about that.

I just ordered a Sonic the other day. I love blue:D anyways, the Ebony is cool, cause it makes the iPod look like a penguin, or wearing a tuxedo! everyone i asked told me to get a carbon

I actually noticed relatively few problems with lint on the carbon case. It's definitely more gray, and the lighter lint wouldn't show up as obviously on it as on the ebony. But since you're not concerned about that, I actually think the contrast between the white iPod and the black iSkin is more attractive (but nevertheless, be prepared to have to clean off the lint every single day).

I have a Vamp, and if I were to get another, I'd get Wasabi. But that's just because I love the bright, glow-in-the-dark colors.

Thanks anyway trose, but I've already seen that. I would not have any chance of using the belt clip. If I could, I would burn all belt clips in the world because I hate them.

I have the iSkin Vamp and Ghost (both Glo cases). The Black cases is probably my next one. I really like the way iSkin made the EVO better than the Exo series of cases. The rotary belt clip rocks!

So if I order it from iSkin's site today, how will I know if I have the "new" or "old" one? Should it be pretty obvious when I open up the box?

Also, I noticed that the exo2 included a lanyard-type thing for keeping it in your hand (c.f. http://www.ipodlounge.com/forums/attachment.php?s=&postid=100810 ). Does the evo include the same thing?

The Evo does not come with the Lanyard.

I believe in reading another thread, that the disc will have (9) little silicon nubs on it, to keep it off the iPod. Or, I would guess that they may just completely coat the disc in silicon. Your guess is as good as mine.

No the iSkin EVO's don't come with the hand strap - only the Exo 2 which is still available. The handstrap was fashioned to attach to the brushed aluminum iSkin Exo 2 belt clip. However, the Exo 2 aluminum belt clip system with handstrap does fit on the EVO too since the cases use the same exact holes and belt disc area. Maybe you can see if you can get this seperately from iSkin. I personally really like the handstrap when I jog.
