E2's or E3's ??

Hi,

Ok tried the EX71's...ok..but now I realize I want better, they are muddy as has been stated here about a zillion times...

Are the E3's worth extra cash..or are the E2's pretty much the same.?

I see the E3's are smaller..so probably more comfortable..sound, though..do they have better bass and general clarity?

With the deals on the E3's atm, Im ready to buy asap...its a small price point now...but I know with some things more $$ doesnt neccessary ,mean better...so, before I buy...anyone thats heard both..is there a difference?

actually you try searching on that my question, and if you find anything that answers my question as specifically as I asked it, then you have my apologies...but i did search first, thank you very much and did NOT find that specific comparison...so thanks :mad:

Try looking under the Reviews sub-section under Gear Guide. There are reviews for both, and basically, what the E2s did for him when he listened the first time, th E3s did the same, topping the E2s the same way the E2s did for everything else.

well, I bit the bullit and just ordered the E3c's @ eCost. $144.94 total with over night shipping, included. ( only used eCost instead of the sweet deal Microsolutions were offering us here at Ipodlounge because I live in the same state as Micro and would have had to pay tax, and I pay way too much tax already! /smacks the taxman!

my e2's arrived today! i'd have to say, i can't hear anything except the music. doesn't sound as good as i think it should...i still have to fiddle with the fitting. i'm a n00bzoRs to canal phones....:D

yea, have to adjust to it, and adjust them, otherwise, without a good seal, canal phones sound like poop.

Br- I thought about the etys originally, but my understanding was although better clarity, they are almost even less bass than the e3's, and I need some punch to my bass.
