how often do you put on new ear plugs (the white in ear pieces) and how often do you change the green filters?

I've had my Ety 4's for about a month now. From what I understand, the amount of time before it takes before the plugs and filters need replacement is highly variable--it's based in large part on how frequently you use them and how clean your ears are.
If you use the tips rather than the foamies, you only need to clean them every so often. They really don't need to be replaced except for cosmetic reasons (discoloring). The foamies, on the other hand, tend to lose their shape after a while.
yeh, mine are just discolored but clean. the filters look fine, but they are so small, it may be hard to tell when they have junk on them and wondered if people just change them routinley with good results in terms of better sound.
