View Full Version : Mini Shock Protection

I've searched the [limited] reviews for mini cases as there aren't many, and this board, and I'm not sure which case is best for protecting the mini against impact/shock as if one were to drop it. I wouldn't figure that those rubber DLO's would do the trick. I'd kinda like to have access to the controls and ports and maybe have protection for the display and scroll wheel. I like the leather cases but I'm also not sure how well they'd protect it from drops. Any suggestions?

Thanks -

Switch on over to iPod Mini/Gear for full discussion of the cases for the mini.

So far, I think any of the Lajo cases with the flp bottom (except exo3) and the iSkin would be best against drops. The Lajos cover the wheel. Add a screen protector (cutout a section of PDA cover) and you're good to go. The iSkin covers the screen but not the wheel.

Of course, you could always get a PDA style case with a flip cover for the ultimate protection, but those prevent you from using the controls.
