Has anyone tried the PANASONIC RP-HJE50E?
This looks like a Sony EX71 clone but with better specs (6-25kHz) and bigger drivers (11.4 rather than 9 mm) while still being easily 'in the ear'._

Those look kinda interesting. I also some Philips earbuds at Target today for $20 that were in-ear and had 20-20kHz and looked like drivers bigger than 9mm....
It looks like they're only sold in Asia though I've found a few American places that will import here. On paper they look real good - they come in silver to match my mini, have 4dbs higher sensitivity, 2000kHz more on high end, and almost 2.5mm larger drivers.
For the same price as the 71s I may have to order some though it'd be cool if someone has some experience with these.

I actually just noticed there's a couple more earbuds in this price range with some really big technical specs.
Check these out - Aiwa HP-VX101 and the Pioneer SE-CL30. Both of which can be found at Audiocubes.com. The Aiwa's have 13.5mm drivers, 107dbl sensitivity and 1000Hz more low-end which is extreme compared to the 51/71s.
In addition to the Panasonics, it looks like Sony has some competition on the low-mid range bud sector. If these buds sounds as good as they look on paper (or the screen), I may have to drop these 51s and get some Aiwas or Panasonics...
