Sweet..thanks for the post!
I just bought some. I wanted to use the microsolutions folks becasue they were giving a close same deal - 135 - to us ipodlounge.com peeps, which is very cool, and I like to support our site, however, the $5 cheaper, plus Im in FL and so is Microsolutions..so I was Also looking at $10+ tax :( , not their fault, but heh, that made it a almost 20$ diff, why pay tax if I dont have to? :D
SO, thanks again, for this becasue it is the cheapest deal on E3's avail. Plus, they are E3c's, so...heh...colour co-ordinated too, silly, but, what the hell. Luckily Im not walking in any areas that I could get mugged so easily, so, I fear not that white colour :)
Thanks again for the heads up!

Schmohey: It was probably a limited-time promotion. MicrophoneSolutions has them from time-to-time, look for them posted on the News section (front section) of iPodlounge.

Schmohey, all you need to do is email them and tell them that ecost has it for cheaper. they will give u a coupon that will discount the E3s and E2s.
Thats how i got the E2s for 80$ with shipping from them.
I emailed them previously and asked them how long this coupon would last and they said mid june.
Here is the email I received from them when i asked about ecost and the coupon is included:
---------------
Thanks for checking.
Please note that eCost is not an Authorized Shure dealer.
They're also selling the E3c, consumer version in white. We only sell
the E3 professional version in gray.
They also charge a handling fee of $6.95 as per their 1-800 customer
rep.
From their return policy page:
"our warehouse will charge a 50% restocking fee if the item is returned
opened."
We offer you a 30 day money back guarantee (shipping charges are
non-refundable and there's a $10.00 cleaning/repackaging fee).
When you buy from an Authorized dealer you are guaranteed for repairs
and replacement at no charge for 2 full years. No matter what other
non-authorized dealers tell you, they cannot guarantee that. One year
and a half down the road if you need a free replacement, Shure will ask
for a copy of that invoice. Even if you lost ours, all it takes is a
phone call to us and we can reprint that invoice in a heart beat.
The lowest we can sell you our E3 is for $135.00 + shipping. Just use
Coupon Code F135E3200
As for the E2, lowest price is $75.00 + shipping (use Coupon Code
F75E2).
Thank you,

I will also add that they are easy to do business with, shipped quickly, and exceeded my expectations of service.
