Ok this is how my problem started...I hooked up my 15 gb iPod via
> Firewire and it would not load my new songs from Itunes onto it. Said
> something like Itunes is correctly being used by some other
> user...something like that. So i was playing around with it trying to
> get it to work (after I checked that no other users were using Itunes.)
> I dont know what I was thinking, but I opened up a sort of device
> window that said the computer recognized my iPod. There was a drop
> down menu on the bottom left that said: Use iPod as a Disk. I opened
> it up and changed it to Do not use iPod as a disk. It froze for a sec,
> came back, and my iPod was not registered on the screen! So now, when
> I plug in my ipod, it doesnt even say "Do not disconnect," instead it
> just charges the battery. I tried everything my illiterate computer
> brain could think of, but Im stumped on how to get this stupid thing to
> re-read my iPod as a device so I can load my songs on.
> I have tried:
> Resetting my iPod
> Restarting computer
> Going into Control panel to see if I could manually add it
> Trying to get it to run under Real One and Audible Manager
> None have worked-PLEASE HELP ME!!
